Counseling Center

LifeWorks Counseling Center provides therapy services to promote the healthy emotional development of children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Confidential mental health services are provided by licensed or supervised clinicians (Licensed Marriage Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, interns/associates) at the LifeWorks office in a safe, welcoming and private atmosphere.

 

Specialized support in the areas of trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorders and behavior support is offered in additional to support for a broad of mental health disorders and needs.

Why seek counseling?

Our fast-paced stressful world can often lead to significant challenges for all of us. A compassionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable mental health professional can give you, your significant other, and your family the guidance needed to gain insight and find solutions. 

Counseling may be needed when you experience…​
  • Emotional stress, anxiety or moodiness

  • Loss of a loved one, either because of bereavement or a relationship breakdown, divorce or separation

  • Unexplained fatigue, unusual eating patterns, or loss of interest in activities or excessive alcohol or drug use

  • Sexuality and gender identity issues

  • A major trauma like a traffic accident, personal attack or natural disaster

  • Communication difficulties, family conflicts or tension, child behavior problems

  • Difficulty coping with changing lifestyles

  • Grief or emotional pain

We offer services for:

  • Individuals – Therapy for children, adolescents, and adults

  • Couples – Relationship help for all couples

  • Families – Support for all family systems

Payment: We make every effort to accommodate the needs of the community and offer a sliding-scale fee system. We accept Partnership insurance and can provide service invoices to other insurance companies.
